Expanding the boundaries of online English lessons at USVM

Participants of online English lessons have opened up new opportunities for sharing experience and knowledge. After all, our colleagues – doctors of veterinary medicine from the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association – joined the classes.

Participants got to know each other, talked about themselves, their pets and patients, taste preferences and features of our kitchens. And also raise important issues related to veterinary practice.

In addition, American colleagues expressed their support for the Ukrainian community and learned to pronounce the most famous patriotic slogan “Glory to Ukraine”.

Online lessons have become a place not only for learning, but also the basis of future international friendship. Through training, participants can correspond, discuss medical issues and exchange experiences with veterinarians in the United States.

We are confident that this path will open up endless prospects for our veterinary community. After all, in the modern world, the English language is not only a means of communication, but also the key to many opportunities.

“We are engaged in a large, but very friendly group. Someone can be scared by a large number of people in class, but you should never wait for 10 people in front of you to give an answer,” shared teacher Kateryna Kafka-Ueber.

All students perform interactive exercises and communicate in constantly changing pairs.

“That is, it happens like at conferences, when you need to talk with different colleagues. I am very grateful and glad that veterinarians of Ukraine have such an opportunity,” adds Kateryna.

We remind you that classes for Ukrainian veterinary specialists are free and are held twice a week for two groups: beginners and those who already have a certain knowledge base.
